Testing Challenge:

The customer was looking for an automated end-of-line production test stand for their new skid steer production line. The solution had to accommodate both ‘wheeled’ and ‘tracked’ vehicles. Plus, the ability to independently test left/right steer controls and the on-board hydraulic system was a priority.

Custom Engineered Solution:

CES came up with a one of a kind eddy current skid steer chassis dyno. The drive-on and drive-off machine design accommodates both tracked and wheeled vehicles and includes an integrated 45 GPM and 4,000 PSI hydraulic component testing system which links with the chassis dyno.  The machine controls easily from the vehicles driver’s seat due to the wireless controller. It also features a customized version of PowerNet CD software. Repeatable and reliable testing occurs using a large screen display that easily steps an operator through the end-of-line production testing while showing on-screen prompts.
