GPS Educational Partners: Dad’s Day Donor Invests In Next Generation of Manufacturers

In honor of Father’s Day, GPS Education Partners would like to take a moment to celebrate the valuable life lessons we learn from our dads: hard work, integrity, respect. The lessons students learn during their time with GPS Education Partners mirror those paternal lessons: leadership, confidence, perseverance. Alan Petelinsek, President and Chief Executive Officer of Power Test, Inc., has the unique perspective of being both a current partner and father of a recent GPS Education Partners graduate.

Power Test, Inc., has proudly hosted the Sussex Education Center since 2013, the same year Petelinsek’s son enrolled with GPS Education Partners. Earlier this month, 83 young men and women graduated from the GPS Education Partners program. Among these graduates was Petelinsek’s son, Samuel, who is prepared to succeed in a technical career with nationally recognized certifications, work experience from multiple manufacturing companies, and acceptance into the engineering program at UW-Platteville.

Petelinsek,  known philanthropist and community crusader, continues to support GPS Education Partners’ mission of helping students succeed by awarding a scholarship to a recent graduate from the Sussex Education Center. Through the generosity of Power Test, Inc., GPS graduate, Greg Hunter, will be receiving a scholarship to help him continue his education and pursue a career in manufacturing.

This Father’s Day, let’s celebrate all fathers’ unique ways of supporting their families and communities.

Thank you for all that you do!
