The AIDCO 450E-Series transmission test stands are designed for testing automatic, fully-automated manual, or manual in-line transmissions used in commercial or military medium to heavy-duty applications. It uses a variable speed, high-efficiency electric motor and drives to simulate the engine driving the transmission. This progressively engineered, quiet, compact torque converter test system keeps vehicle downtime to a minimum by greatly reducing critical failures on the road or in the field. In most cases, performance testing on this machine will eliminate the cost of additional dis-assembly and repair for rebuilt or serviced components.

The Model 450E uses a variable speed, high-efficiency electric motor and drive to simulate the engine driving the transmission. This progressively engineered, quiet, compact torque converter test system keeps vehicle downtime to a minimum by greatly reducing critical failures on the road or in the field. In most cases, performance testing on this machine will eliminate the cost of additional dis-assembly and repair for rebuilt or serviced components.

Features

  • Includes an Eddy Load Unit that connects to the transmission’s output to apply a load, simulating actual operating conditions.
  • Splined input facilitates quick transmission coupling and alignment.
  • Transmissions with SAE #1 flange mount directly to the 450E bell housing. Adapter rings are available for other SAE sizes.

450E Series
