Description
Power Test Analog “Smart” Throttle Actuator
Enables precision speed control on mechanically fueled engines and helps automate engine testing.
Taylor Dyno Throttle Controllers

Electronic Throttle – interface connects directly to the vehicle or engine’s harness and does not interfere with the vehicle’s computers. Cable terminations or connections to the vehicle or engine’s harness are the customer’s responsibility. The interface uses a reference voltage and ground from the engine for operation. The control signal from the Data Acquisition system adjusts the throttle controller output proportionally.
Linear Servo Throttle – controlled through your computer and Data Acquisition and Control System for the more precise and repeatable mechanical throttle position requirements.
Pneumatic Throttle – controlled through your computer and Data Acquisition & Control System. Designed for the user with modest mechanical testing requirements. Generally not used when repeatable partial throttle position testing is desired.
Dyne Systems Throttle Actuator Stand with Remote Pendant

The Throttle Actuator consists of a completely enclosed DC motor combined with a planetary gear reduction and optical encoder. The integral planetary gear reduction provides ample torque for actuating the most demanding mechanical throttle systems while the optical encoder provides precise position feedback for optimum control. Combined with Dyne Systems’ closed-loop throttle controls, the Throttle Actuator provides precise, repeatable control for position, speed and load modes.
