Building on the proven performance of the Taylor Dyno™ DE Series, the E-LI Series eddy current dynamometers deliver fast response, low-inertia, and low-maintenance operation—making them a dependable alternative to traditional water brake dynamometers. Designed for air- or water-cooled applications, these dynos support engine testing up to 966 hp (720 kW) across a wide range of industries, including automotive, aerospace, and industrial engine development.
The E-LI Series eddy current dynamometers utilize a rotating metallic disk within a magnetic field to generate eddy currents, providing precise torque and power measurements. With integrated strain gauge load cells and a rugged, corrosion-resistant design—including nickel-plated components exposed to water—these dynamometers ensure long-lasting, high-performance operation in demanding testing environments.
