Description
Your test cell should have a separate fire suppression and alarm system. Since a potential test cell fire will be oil, diesel fuel or natural gas in origin, a water sprinkling system will not be effective. Instead, a fire suppression system for petroleum product-fed fires is recommended. Ensure your system meets the requirements of your local fire protection regulations. The Supervisory Fire Panel comes with two (2) quad spectrum optical flame detectors. These detectors are powered and supervised by the supervisory panel. The supervisory panel provides fire notification locally via a horn and strobe light located outside the test cell. Relays provide interfaces to the facility safety panel and test cell control system to interrupt any testing, shutdown equipment and stop fuel from entering the test cell.
