Notice Regarding Data Incident

Power Test Industries, LLC (“Power Test”) experienced a cybersecurity incident. Between June 10, 2024, and January 7, 2025, Power Test notified all impacted individuals for ‎whom they had addresses. Power Test could not provide direct notification to a small number of individuals. In compliance with legal obligations, this notice is to share important information regarding the incident.

What Happened? Power Test experienced a network outage that was the result of a cybersecurity attack. In response, Power Test engaged Kroll, a leading cybersecurity firm, to help contain the attack, investigate the incident, and restore our systems in a safe manner. Our investigation determined that on or around April 29, 2024 the ‎individual potentially gained unauthorized access to certain files and folders that may have contained ‎personal information.

Power Test has informed law enforcement and since implemented additional measures to further strengthen network security.

What Information Was Involved? Following an extensive review and analysis of the data at issue, we discovered the ‎potentially impacted data contained names, addresses, financial accounts, social security numbers, and other personal information ‎of certain individuals.

To date, Power Test is not aware of any reports of identity fraud or improper use of the information as a direct ‎result of this incident, and we have no reason to believe that fraud or improper use will occur.‎

What Can You Do? If you have any questions or believe you may have been one of the individuals impacted, ‎please contact Power Test’s dedicated and confidential toll-free response line at (866) 898-5471. This response line is staffed with professionals who will let ‎you know if you were one of the impacted individuals for whom we were not able to locate an address. This team is familiar with this incident and  can provide knowledge on what affected individuals can do to ‎protect against potential misuse of their information. The response line is available Monday through ‎Friday, 8am to 8pm Eastern Standard Time.‎
