Testing Challenge:

Customer sought a solution to test a wide range of hydraulic motors without using a large amount of electrical power on an end of line test system. Some motors were high speed, others very low speed, and an option for testing hydraulic pumps was also required.

Custom Engineered Solution:

Engineered Solutions designed a variable flow and pressure hydraulic test bench, with a high speed electric regenerative load capability for testing the complete range of hydraulic motors required by the customer. An integrated speed increaser allowed very slow hydraulic motors to be tested the same as the medium and high speed units. Additional hydraulics allowed the machine to have pump testing capabilities in the same footprint. Electric loading regeneration allowed power consumption to remain low, even when the motors were loaded to maximum specifications. The solution was completely automated with quick change over for consistent, reliable end of line testing in a production environment.
